C-DEF TANZANIA VISIT AT YPO OFFICE

A visit of Child Dignity and Equality Foundation (C-DEF) Tanzania at the Youth Power Organization office

Date and Time: July 16, 2025 | 08:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Venue: Youth Power Organization office, Morogoro.

The Youth Power Organization hosted a team from C-DEF, who visited and met with YPO team. The C-DEF team introduced themselves and their Organization, explaining in briefly about their activities and what their organization does/deals with.

The primary purpose of C-DEF Tanzania was to learn and exchange ideas on how YPO executes its various projects, drawing on their professional experience in conducting projects from idea generation and skills development to fieldwork, which has led to positive results for community/ society beneficiaries

Visitors:

1. C-DEF Executive Director
2. C-DEF Program Officer
3. C-DEF Community Development and Gender Officer

Key Activities:

1. Presentation session: YPO team shared the Overview of projects, especially on Objectives, Approaches used, and Achievements.
2. They also shared the methods, training models, and community engagement strategies.
3. Experience sharing and Discussion: There was an open dialogue on challenges and lessons learned in implementing projects as part of youth employment strategies.
4. C-DEF shared their areas of interest and asked questions that they found to give a clear view as a lead on their intended line of interest.

Observations:

1. The C-DEF team appreciated the skills communicated by YPO.
2. They expressed their plans on tackling similar projects.

Conclusion:

The visit was successful in sharing knowledge between YPO and C-DEF, Tanzania. We agreed to maintain communication for future partnerships and support.
